MEETEX 2026 BEGINS IN ZAGREB
The atmosphere in Zagreb is beginning to change as the first international guests arrive for MEETEX 2026 – the Croatian Meeting Experience Summit.
Hosted buyers and industry professionals from five continents – Europe, North America, South America, Asia and Australia – are arriving in the Croatian capital, bringing with them a truly global perspective on the meetings and events industry.
Today is also the day when registration opens and participants receive their event accreditations. This year MEETEX continues its commitment to sustainability by operating as a paperless and plastic-free event, while introducing plantable and regenerative badges – a small but symbolic reminder that responsible events can also contribute positively to the environment.
The spirit of this year’s edition is captured in the motto “Hearts meeting in Zagreb.”
In an industry increasingly influenced by digital tools and algorithms, MEETEX continues to emphasise something that technology cannot replace: human connection.
Because in the meetings industry, meaningful collaboration still begins with people meeting people.
Throughout the day participants will reconnect with colleagues, discover new partnerships and prepare for the official start of the programme and the welcome reception later this evening.
